T-5 5spd, 112K original miles, hardtop, clean original body, Dupont paint, 100% cosmetic
and mechanical restoration,

2. 1984 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade, 6cyl, Light Restoration May 2002
This
Jeep was my daily driver for about a year and along the way
received a light cosmetic restoration. The original Nordic
Green paint was in good shape but the rockers were starting to go,
so I retained the stripes and painted just the rear.
3. 1985 Jeep CJ-7, 6cyl, T-176, OEM Restoration 1997-1998
This
Jeep was one of my favorites. I drove and wheeled it for
over 2 years as my daily driver and restored it with OEM wheels,
interior and more. In this picture, my friend Jeff shows off
this bone-stock CJ's articulation capabilities.
4. 1983 Jeep CJ-7 w/ Chevy 350, Cosmetic Restoration 1999
Chevy
350 V8, Dual exhaust and headers, TF-999 Automatic. I drove
this jeep for about a year and loved the engine's power and
reliability over the stock 258. I bought this jeep from an
NFL
Philadelphia Eagle who had the V8 put in, and I finished it.
5. 1977 Jeep CJ-7, factory 304 V8, Cosmetic Restoration 2001
304
V8, TH400 Auto, and Quadratrac full time 4WD. I replaced the
tranny and did a cosmetic restoration. This jeep guzzled gas
like crazy and I wasn't too impressed with the Quadratrac. This jeep
was sold to Virginia but I recently saw it in Texas.
6. 1984 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade, 6cyl, T-4, OEM Restoration 1996-97
This
Jeep started it all. I didn't know a thing about Jeeps when I
bought this one in 1996. It needed head work and brakes, and
then I slowly restored it. It was sold in 1997, but I was
hooked and it wouldn't be long until I bought another one.
7. 1985 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade, 6cyl, T-176, Parts Jeep bought 2002
This came from Bayside Queens NYC and
was completely rusted thanks to a double dose of beach and road
salt. The frame and body were both shot but I salvaged
a lot of good parts from it. Check
out some nasty frame photos here.
8. 1986 Jeep CJ-7, Original Paint, 4-6 Engine Swap spring 2001
This
jeep started life with an AMC 150 4cyl and T-4. A friend
bought it from the original owner and it was garage kept.
The 4cyl gave up around 115K. I bought it and installed a
258 six, T-176, and 2.73s from an '85. It was sold summer
2001.
9. 1979 Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle, Levi's Ed. 6cyl, T-150 3-spd.
This jeep started life as a Golden
Eagle with original paint and graphics until the hood catches let
go and destroyed the eagle and hood. I
drove this jeep for one year and sold it with 141K on the orig.
motor and trans. It was a great runner.
10. 1986 Cherokee Pioneer 4 door, orig. paint, daily driver '00-'01
These Jeeps are great- the 1st small 4 dr SUVs. She
took 5 guys to
Montreal twice, saw lots of wheelin' and ran great, but the carbed
V6 was a
dog. Once, on the way to NH, the carb got stuck at 75
mph and blew the muffler apart like a gunshot.
11. 1985 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade - frame & drivetrain of CJ-YJ project
This Jeep had a solid frame and only
74K
on a 6cyl & T-176 4spd. However, it also came with the
usual rust and poor body work. The tub was cut up for scrap and
the rest is getting a YJ galvanized tub and full restoration in
the Current Jeeps section.
12. 1989 Jeep YJ Wrangler, 36K original miles, parted out Fall 2001
This wrangler was forced upon me by one
of my neighbors friends. It sat for 5 years and didn't run
too well, but had a mint galvanized tub to use for the current CJ-YJ
project. I took the entire jeep apart piece by piece and
sold everything else.
13. 1988 Jeep YJ Wrangler Laredo, 6cyl, 164K, Sold Feb. 2002
This Jeep came from Massachusetts and
was advertised with a bad trans, and sure enough it had the dreaded
Peugeot 5-spd in it. I had the same trans from the '89, So I
swapped it, did some cosmetic work, and sold it to a guy in Texas.
14. 1977 Jeep CJ-7 6cyl 3spd Rust Bucket, Cut up Aug. 2002
This Jeep was offered to me by a local
guy who drove buy. I got it for $200 and it last ran in
1997. My buddy Andy and I recovered it, check out the story
and photos here.
It is now cut up for scrap, but I saved the drivetrain and other
goodies.
